Has lived in the Morrinsville district since 1974. Prior to entering the real estate industry was a milk tanker driver, sharemilker and farm owner. Joined L J Hooker Morrinsville in 2001.

Has a keen interest in the equine industry. Having worked extensively in Europe since 1995 as a instructor and coach. As a competitive rider has accomplished wins in France, Holland and Germany. Also been the coach of the New Zealand Quarter Horse Youth team since 1994 with several riders achieving international titles. Since 2004 has been an International Judge AQHA, one of only 3 in Oceania.
